We are seeking a long-term nanny for our 14 month-old starting 9/6 (flexible). 35-40 h/wk, 8am-4pm M-F (negotiable). Offering $18-20/h with 10 day accrued PTO and paid holidays. Responsibilities: food prep, feeding and clean-up, diapering, age-appropriate play, naps. We hope to find a nurturing and patient nanny who is experienced with toddlers, CPR/First Aid certified, has a clean driving record and background check, is smoke/vape/drug-free, prioritizes safety and hygiene, is COVID-conscious, and up-to-date with vaccinations (e.g. COVID, Tdap, MMR). We both work full-time in STEM. Mom partially teleworks. We have a grandparent over for months at a time so there’s an extra pair of hands. We follow gentle parenting. We believe in open communication and want our nanny to feel respected and valued. Our toddler is expressive, affectionate, inquisitive. She loves music, books, the backyard, and one-on-one time. She has a sense of humor, is starting to walk, and test limits.

Days of the week are flexible. A nanny share or parent with another child around 2.5 years would be awesome for social interaction opportunities but isn’t a must. We would like you to pick up our 2-year-old from his half day program at 12pm, he usually naps for a few hours around this time and then 1 to 2 hours of play or go for a walk, or to library/park until my husband or I get home from work at 5pm.
